She was predeceased by: her mother Lena Bell Goney. She is survived by: her husband Preston Tompkins of Naylor; her daughters, Julie Davis of Jamestown and Brandi (Bryan Jones); her grandchildren, Wheeler Smith, Malcolm Jones and Marion Jones; and her aunt Juanita Taylor.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carson McLane Funeral Home (2215 N Patterson St, Valdosta, GA 31602). A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery (1584 Hopewell Church Rd, Moultrie, GA 31788).
