With sadness, we share the passing of Barbara Ann Robards of Newnan, Georgia. Barbara Ann, born on August 25, 1936, passed away on September 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Cochran Sr. and Annie Cochran; her husband Travis George Robards; her son-in-law Jim Wright; and her siblings, Ruby Eason, Louise Davis, Bobby Cochran, Howard Cochran Jr. and Barry Cochran.
She is survived by: her children, Michael George Robards, John Gregory Robards (Otilia), Karen Denise Wright and Lisa Ann Robards Patalan (Steve); her brother Jimmy Cochran; and her grandchildren, Joseph Robards (Melissa), Alan Henry (Becky), Blake McDowell (April), Lauren Robards, Luis Colindres (Maria), Marian Gonzales, Emelid Gonzales and Donna Smith. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McKoon Funeral Home (38 Jackson St, Newnan, GA 30263). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (656 Roscoe Rd, Newnan, GA 30263).
