He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Arnold Butcher and Sarah McConnell Leneave Butcher; and his wives, Cynthia "Cindy" Slaughter Butcher and Deborah "Debbie" Athearn Butcher. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Hobbs (Kenneth) of Oviedo, FL and Amanda Ham (Chris) of Woodstock; his stepdaughters, Melissa Morrow (Dwight) of Fairburn and Elizabeth Thompson of Newnan; and his grandchildren, Savannah Hardin (Wyatt) of Fayetteville, AR, Joshua Hobbs of Dallas, TX, Mackenzie, Charles, Jacob Ham of Woodstock, Carly Padgett Russell (Zach) of Roswell, Erin McFadden (Eryn Pynes) of Huntsville, AL and Tye McFadden of Newnan.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the McKoon Funeral Home (38 Jackson St, Newnan, GA 30263). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of McKoon Funeral Home & Crematory (38 Jackson St, Newnan, GA 30263).
