He is survived by: his wife Peggy Davis; his son William Davis (Teresa); his stepsons, Kevin Cross (Amanda), Roger Huddleston and Michael Moran (Angie); his grandchildren, Kayla Davis Higginbotham (Christopher) and Everett Davis (Chloe); his great grandchildren, Kaia Thrush and Kaeden Thrush; his stepgrandchildren, Oliver Cross, Barrett Cross, Bridgett Moran and Myles Moran; his siblings, Grace Ward (Bobby), Hazel Conley and Ennis Davis (Carol); and his sisters-in-law, Caroline Davis (Oliver) and Anne Davis (J. C.). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McKoon Funeral Home (38 Jackson St, Newnan, GA 30263). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of McKoon Funeral Home (38 Jackson St, Newnan, GA 30263).
