He was predeceased by: his parents, William Earl Shefelton and Margery Lynn Shefelton; his wife Mary Ellen Shefelton; and his granddaughter Kristy Shefelton. He is survived by: his children, Scott Shefelton (Debby) of Newnan and Joan Kuehl (Rusty) of Newnan; his grandchildren, Kelsey Kuehl of Newnan, Gracie Gay (Sam) of Newnan and April Shefelton (Paul) of Naples, FL; and his great grandchild Saraphina.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Newnan Historic Sanctuary (15 W Washington St, Newnan, GA 30263). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
