With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dianne Ivey Wood of Newnan, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 11, 2025 at the age of 61. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dianne Ivey Wood to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Marshall Ivey and Lois Arlene Alcott Ivey; and her brothers, David AllenIvey and Lester Dale Ivey. She is survived by: her husband Terry Wood; her son Andrew Christopher Wood (Miranda); her grandchildren, Michael Jerry Wood of Newnan, Haley Grace Wood of Newnan, Lucas Andrew Wood of Newnan, Lillie Tyree, Issac Taft of Hogansville and Addy Marshall of Sharpsburg; her sister Marsha Carol Veal (Ricky Veal) of LaGrange; her mother-in-law Delphine Walters; and her siblings-in-law, Darlene Johnson of Sanford, NC and John Wood (Anita Wood) of Franklin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Hope Baptist Church (3989 Corinth Rd, Newnan, GA 30263). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at the Grantville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
