We announce the death of Edna Fleming Sewell in Newnan, Georgia, who passed away on September 2, 2026, at the age of 90. Edna will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. L. Fleming and Hannie Fleming; her spouse Glover Sewell, Jr.; and her siblings, Betty Durcan and Preston Fleming.
She is survived by: her children, Anne Marie Johnson (Skip), Byram Sewell (Terri), Eric Sewell (Carrie) and Jeff Sewell (Muffin); her grandchildren, Quade Sewell (Kara), Sydney Dixon (Tyler), Ansley Kavis (Eric), Lindsey Bening (Hunter), Bolling Moore (JK), Harrison Sewell, Thompson Sewell, Cullen Sewell, Lilah Jane Sewell and Lauren Pope (Josh); her great grandchildren, Killian, Lorelai Sewell, Jamie, Audrey Kavis, Parker, Hudson Pope and Olivia Dixon; and her siblings, Dan Fleming, Ronnie Fleming, Cornelia Powell and Nancy Humphreys. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
