He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Poole and Caroline Poole; and his former wife Deborah Gottke Poole. He is survived by: his wife Marilu M. Poole; and his children, Forrest C. Poole, III (Yvonne) of Vienna, VA, Seth M. Waller (Wendy) of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Heather Becker (David) of San Diego, CA, William Waller of Newnan, Ashley Bouknight (Mel) of Mesa, AZ, Elinor Lamb (Rob) of Cumming, GA and Daniel Poole (Janna) of Sharpsburg. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McKoon Funeral Home (38 Jackson St, Newnan, GA 30263). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the McKoon Funeral Home Chapel (38 Jackson St, Newnan, GA 30263). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church (3 Village Rd, Newnan, GA 30265).
