He was predeceased by : his parents, Archie Hurley and Carrie Satterwhite Hurley; and his brother Howard Hurley (Charlotte). He is survived by : his wife Janet Rogers Hurley; his children, Judy Colston (Charlie), Robert Hurley and Brian Hurley Sr.; his grandchildren, Brian Hurley Jr. (Tiffany) and Kelly Pescetto (Kyle); his great grandchildren, Kamdyn and Kymbrie; and his brother Douglas Hurley (Mildred).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Parrott Funeral Home & Crematory (8355 Senoia Rd, Fairburn, GA 30213). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home (8355 Senoia Rd, Fairburn, GA 30213).
