He was predeceased by: his children, Shawn Kelly Buchanan and Mechelle Buchanan Fowler. He is survived by: his spouse Raeleen Buchanan; his daughter Tammy Avant; his son-in-law Franklin Avant; his son Troy Alan Riekena; his grandchildren, Samuel Fowler (Christy), Brittney Flores (Adam), Nick Fowler, Nikki Fowler, Tristen Webb (Rebecca) and Cody Rogers; and his great grandchildren, Trent Fowler, Taytum Flores, Axel Flores and Walker Flores.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mowell Funeral Home and Cremation Service - Fayetteville (180 N Jeff Davis Dr, Fayetteville, GA 30214). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home (180 N Jeff Davis Dr, Fayetteville, GA 30214).
