Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Douglas Nelms to pay them a last tribute.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry George's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May George's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Dovard and Clara Mae Ellis Nelms; and his brother David Keith Nelms. He is survived by: his wife Terry Lynn Knowles Nelms; and his siblings, D. Wayne Nelms, Robert Bruce Nelms (Kathy) and Jane Marie Nelms (Jeff Smith).
It was George's desire that in lieu of flowers, friends might make a memorial gift to The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation at cholangiocarcinoma.org for research to cure the cruelty of this rare form of cancer.
