She was predeceased by: her parents, Harper Glen Connally and Odessa Colquitt Connally; her siblings, Glen Connally III and Jan Nash; her former husband Arthur Burt Rutledge; her husband James Pope Duncan, Sr.; and her grandson Arthur Brandon Rutledge.
She is survived by: her sons, Arthur Bradley Rutledge, Sr. (Joan) of Jasper, GA., Alan Connally Rutledge (Margarita) of Newnan and Richard Sharber Rutledge (Shirley) of Taylorsville, GA.; her grandchildren, Brad Rutledge, Jr. of Acworth, GA., Brooke Rutledge Smith (Spencer) of Columbia, SC., Kirsten O'Neal of Newnan, Jared Rutledge of Rome, GA., James "Jed" Rutledge, Sydney Rutledge of Newnan and Katie Rutledge Hardy (Brett) of Taylorsville, GA.; her siblings, Kay Manning of Arlington, TX and Walker Connally of Newnan; and her siblings-in-law, Elaine Ables (Cliff) of Sebring, FL and David Rutledge (Carolyn) of Clarkston, GA..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Newnan Historic Sanctuary (15 W Washington St, Newnan, GA 30263). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
