With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlene Nancy Philyaw of Newnan, Georgia, born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 19, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Marlene may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie DeNise (Rick), Sandy Dollar (Al), Alan Murray (Becky) and Paul Murray; her grandchildren, Billy Ransdell, Christie Berry (Michael), Daniel Murray, Naomi Lawrence (Caleb), Jonathan Murray and Nathan Murray; her great grandchild Noah Berry; and her pet Maggie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holly Hill Memorial Park (431 SW Broad St, Fairburn, GA 30213). A burial was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holly Hill Memorial Park (359 SW Broad St, Fairburn, GA 30213).
