Melvin John Bowen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin John Bowen (Newnan, Georgia), who passed away on June 6, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Bowen and Thomas Bowen Sr.; and his brother Thomas Bowen Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Susan Marie Bowen; his son Eric Alan Bowen (April); his grandchildren, Gavin Reid Bowen and Brooke Marie Bowen; his brother Terry Lee Bowen (Jane); and his nieces and nephews, Bret, Kevin Bowen, Chrissy Mathews (Dave) and Roxanne Accetta (Chris).
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church (3 Village Rd, Newnan, GA 30265). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
