He is survived by: his wife Dawn Kovach; his children, Joshua Kovach, Amanda, Daniel, Dena Polito and Joseph; his grandchildren, Angelena and Nicolette; his children, Barbara and Jay Berkowitz; his brother-in-law John Heffernan; his niece Megan; and his nephew David.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rocky Creek Baptist Church (1801 Woodruff Rd, Greenville, SC 29607). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 4:15 PM at the Graceland East Cemetery (2206 Woodruff Rd, Simpsonville, SC 29681).
