She was predeceased by: her parents, James Melton Peavy and Avis Patricia Ayers Peavy. She is survived by: her husband Danny Karr of Newnan; her children, Kristin Lawrence (Kyle) of Grantville, GA and Clinton Karr (Elizabeth) of Senoia, GA; and her grandchildren, Ayerl, Arlo, Atlas, Aster Lawrence of Grantville, GA, Ellis, Leyland, Eloise and Emersyn Karr of Senoia, GA..

In keeping with her wishes, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society in place of flowers.
