With sadness, we share the passing of Patrick McKenzie Windham of Newnan, Georgia. Patrick, born on March 10, 1941, passed away on August 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Windham and Maude Peterman Windham; and his siblings, Julian Windham, Irene Underwood, Dorothy Stephens, Troy Windham and Lamar Windham.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Windham of Newnan; his children, Keith Windham (Michelle) of Greensboro, Christy Flemming (John) of Newnan and Joy Knight (Keith) of Newnan; his grandchildren, Taylor Windham, Zachary Windham, Barbara Flemming, Patrick Knight and Sam Knight; and his brother Leon Windham (Mandy) of Cleveland, Tennessee. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Central Baptist Church (14 W Broad St p, Newnan, GA 30264).
He was awarded the Man of the Decade award from the AMC for two consecutive decades and received the prestigious Volare award twice for his contributions to the aviation industry.
