We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2024, at the age of 83, Robert David Rustin Sr. of Newnan, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert David Rustin Sr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Eleanor Mae Lily Rustin and Robert Glen Rustin; his wife Linda Carlisle Rustin; and his brothers, Ralph Edwin Rustin and Alan Lee Rustin.

He is survived by : his sons, David Rustin Jr. (Pat), John Rustin (Lori) and Andy Rustin (Nancy); his grandchildren, Joshua Rustin, Kristal Blevins, Andrew Rustin Jr., Logan Rustin, Tyler Rustin, Matthew Hannah, Michael Hannah, Kevin Hanner, Tyler Howard and Dustin Howard; and his sister Glenda Avery (Sandy). He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McKoon Funeral Home (38 Jackson St, Newnan, GA 30263). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of McKoon Funeral (38 Jackson St, Newnan, GA 30263).
