He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Dolar Sease and Elaine Anna Kledis Sease; his former wife Sandi Nelson; and his siblings, Ron Sease and Mary Heidick.

He is survived by: his wife Alice Sease of Newnan, GA; his children, Nicole Nelson-Sease (Mel Battistoni) of Glenview, IL and Dylan Nelson-Sease (Paige Gesicki); his granddaughter Quinn Sease of Somerville, NJ; his stepgranddaughter Abigail Chaffin (James Reese) of Newnan, GA; and his brothers, Ed Sease (Barb Sease) of Des Moines, IA and Randy Sease (Pam Becke-Sease) of Hartley, IA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many 'Nam Knight brothers.

Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the McKoon Funeral Home (38 Jackson St, Newnan, GA 30263). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the McKoon Funeral Home Chapel (38 Jackson St, Newnan, GA 30263).
