We are sad to announce that on May 9, 2025, at the age of 79, Romuel Turner Jr. of Newnan, Georgia, born in Memphis, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Romuel farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Romuel is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Kleinpeter Turner and Romuel Brown Turner, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Janis Williams Turner; his daughters, Alicia Turner (Peter Bodigor) and Sherri Turner Ruerup (Jason); his sisters, Patricia Turner Taylor (John) and Nancy Turner Perkins (Geary); and his granddaughter Raven Oceanna Ruff.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the American Heart Association.
