She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie Moss Woods and Early D. Maddox; her son Nicholas Amos Jackson; her grandson Jamarcus Ronyaa Jackson; her stepfather Jesse Woods; and her siblings, Bobbie Ann Parker, Rebecca Whitehead, Gloria Moody, Carrie Bell Brewer-Staples, Howard Thomas and Willie Roy Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Keith Jackson and Phyllis Jackson-Florence; her son-in-law Samuel Florence; her grandchildren, Alyssia Kendrea Jackson, Donte Gilbert and Takevan Jackson; her great grandchildren, Taneria Jackson and Creed McCray; her siblings, Jacqueline Lattimore (Tony), George Thomas (Sharmaine) and Robert Maddox; and her cousins, Katie Martin, Mary Harris and Estelle Moss. She is also survived by nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
