She was predeceased by: her mother Ruth Franklin Rebarker; her husband William "Bill" Elvis Morris; her father Samuel Foster Smiley, Jr.; her brother David Foster Smiley; and her brother-in-law Chester Keith Bruington (Chuck).
She is survived by: her son Kevin Morris (Melinda) of Newnan, Georgia; her granddaughter Taylor Morris of Newnan; her sister Brenda Smiley Bruington of Hardinsburg, Kentucky; and her nieces and nephews, Gary Morris (PJ), Rick Morris (Gail), Jason Bruington (Mindy), David Smiley (Mary Johnnetta Berry), Kirby Armes (Ryne) and Courtney Bell (Ryan). She is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Black Lick Baptist Church (246 Blacklick Church Ln, Falls of Rough, KY 40119). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Samaritan's Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607, designated for U.S. Disaster Relief or Operation Christmas Child.
