She was predeceased by: her son Christopher James Motes "Coach Motes"; and her sister Patsy Browning. She is survived by: her daughter Ashly Lynn Moody (John); her daughter-in-law Diane Motes; her siblings, Harvey Adair (Ann), Randy Adair (Elaine), Gary Adair (Denise), Robin Adair (Julie), Kevin Adair (Cathy), Jane Courington, Simonia Ryals, Linda Robbins (Joe) and Nancy Grier (Tex); and her grandchildren, Brady Motes, Aadon Motes and Emmy Moody. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
