Though Dan may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Cornelius Gray and Sarah Dismuke Gray of Georgia; and his half-brother Otis Deese. He is survived by: his daughter Taylor Danielle Gray (Robert Haight) of Livingston, Texas; his granddaughter Sara Rudebusch of Livingston, Texas; his siblings, Pat Gray of Newton and Ray Gray (Linda) of Newton; and his close friend Nancy Parker of Newton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Travelers Rest Free Will Baptist Church (3138 Travelers Rest Rd, Newton, GA 39870).
