He was predeceased by : his parents, Welton Lee Rentz and Annie Ruth Tucker Rentz; his wife Cecilia Ann Maples Rentz; and his brothers, Lee Rentz and Woody Rentz.
He is survived by : his daughter Mandy Rentz Culverson (Stevens) of Bainbridge; his grandchildren, Mills Hornsby and Allee Hornsby; his stepchildren, Stacy Ethridge, Sherina Courson and Kimberly Wright; and his sisters, Dot Porter, Linda Hudson, Marilyn Hodges, Martha English and Gloria Throneberry. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
