He is survived by: his wife Jerell Wells Fortner of Nicholls; his children, Erika Jones of Nicholls, Paul Jones of Broxton and Rob Fortner of Douglas; and his sister-in-law Pearl Barker of Adel. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
