It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cindy Stottlemire of Nicholls, Georgia, who passed away on April 22, 2026, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Cindy departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Cindy. Though Cindy may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Lee Newbrough and Phyllis Scritchfield Newbrough; and her son Joseph Allen Stottlemire. She is survived by: her husband Clifford Allen Stottlemire; her children, Harold Lewis Newbrough (Deedee) of Dixie Union and Stacie Corbitt (Albert) of Waycross; her brothers, Eddie Newbrough of West Virginia and Bruce Newbrough of West Virginia; and her great grandchild Robert Emmons of Nicholls. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
