He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Carlton Mack Meeks and Annie Bell Thomas Meeks; his wife Vinnie Mae Stokes Meeks of Nicholls; his children, Laura Kight (Danny) of Nicholls, Don Meeks (Kathy), Lisa Altman (Stevie) of Alma and Darren Meeks of Nicholls; and his grandchildren, Melissa Kight Beckham, Ashton Joy Kight, Anna Meeks Johnson, Justin Meeks, Shawn Hall, Aleisha Bagley, Trey Tillman and Peyton Meeks. He was also cherished by 12 great-grandchildren.
