It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred T. Chappell of Nicholls, Georgia, who passed away on April 19, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the tapestry of our lives, his presence is woven into the fabric of our fondest memories, a gentle reminder of the impact Fred has had on our hearts.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Lester Chappell and Leona Howell Chappell; his wife Mary Sue Johnson Chappell; his son Marty Chappell; and his brothers, Pondie Chappell and Tony Chappell.

He is survived by : his daughter Lisa Hodges (Kevin); his grandchildren, Logan Hodges (Jade) and Zoie Hodges; his great grandchildren, Beau Manin Hodges and Nellie Grae Hodges; and his siblings, Shafter Chappell and Paulette Weaks (John).

A graveside service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Wolf PIT Cemetery (532 Wolf Pit Church Rd, Nicholls, GA 31554).
