He was predeceased by: his son Micah Matthew Williamson; his parents, Ben D. Williamson and Katherine Allmond Williamson; and his brothers, Ray Mathew Williamson and James "Ronnie" Williamson.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Lott Williamson of Nicholls; his brother Donald Williamson of Vidalia; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce E. Williamson of Vidalia and Mary Lynn Lott of Douglas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
