She was predeceased by: her parents, John William Odum and Lula Mae Story Odum; her husband Michael Kenneth Sears; her children, Amy Lou Sears, Raven Garcia and William Bedgood; and her siblings, Shirley Faye Odum, Jean Marilyn Hutchinson, Patricia Ann McKinnon and Ray Carroll Odum.
She is survived by: her children, Sandy Mckinnon Tovar (Ramiro) of Tifton and Michelle Nobles Spivey (Franky) of Douglas; her son-in-law Rolando Garcia of Douglas, Georgia; her grandchildren, Zachery Whitley (Cara), Jonothon Whitley (Skyler), Jaylin Wiley (Tucker), Jesi Hendricks (Will), Jacob Nobles (Kayle), Brayden Garcia, Bentley Garcia, Greison Spivey, Sierra Sears, Makayla Sears, Michael Sears, Levi Sears, Skyler Forrest (Brock) and CJ Woesner; and her sister Wanda Sue Harrell (Junior) of Douglas, Georgia. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ricketson Funeral Home Chapel (305 W Ward St, Douglas, GA 31533). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at the Satilla Memorial Gardens (5701 US-441, Douglas, GA 31535).
