He is survived by: his wife Shirley Sasser of Nicholls, GA; his children, Brooke McKinnon (Tyler) of Savannah, GA, Steven Sasser (Boone) of Jesup, GA and Gregory Sasser (Brittany) of Douglas, GA; his grandchildren, Ruby Sasser, Dean Sasser, Grey Sasser, Patrick McKinnon, Annabelle McKinnon, James McKinnon, Aiden McKinnon, Kim Sasser (Sandra) of Alma, GA and Glenn Sasser (Esperanza) of Darrien, GA; and his sister Rene Chancey (Wade) of Alma, GA. He is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews.
