With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Will Horton of Nicholls, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 8, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Will find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his mother Oria Christeen Driggers; and his nephew Casey Horton. He is survived by: his close friend Merita Horton of Mountian City, TN; his children, Mindy Horton of Douglas, GA, Lisa Taylor (Scott) of Broxton, GA, Christy Barton of Ambrose, GA, Lindsay Lipsey (Shane) of Adel, GA, Laken Horton of Knoxville, TN, Kelly Bonnell (Jeffery) of Ocala, FL and Richard Kilgore (Danya) of Douglas, GA; and his nieces, Laura "Lulu" Petty and Rachel "Fat Butt" Tweedy. He is also survived by Nineteen Grandchildren, Twenty Great Grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Grace Baptist Church (1208 E Walker St, Douglas, GA 31533).
