It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Katherine Evans of Nicholson, Georgia, who passed away on August 27, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by : her husband James Donald Evans of Nicholson; her children, Parrish Evans (Julie), Dawn Crane (Jep) of Nicholson and Summer Evans of Nicholson; her grandchildren, Ward Evans (Allie), Addison Evans, Mackenzie Evans, Ariana Crane, Aleah Crane, Lexie Evans and Xander Evans; her great grandchildren, Lucy Evans and Hendrix Evans; her siblings, Gene Wood of Nicholson, Bill Wood (Carol) of Commerce, Dillard Wood (Derenda) of Martinsville, VA, Danny Wood (Cathy) of Winterville, Fay Wilbanks of Nicholson, Gladys Palmer (John) of Nicholson and Patsy Wilbanks (Johnny) of Maysville; and her sisters-in-law, Floy Nell Smith Wood of Nicholson, Reba Wood of Commerce and Glenda Wood of Ila. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
