He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Douglass (Johns) and James Douglass; his brothers, Tommy and Carl; his sister-in-law Linda Benson (Hetman); his niece Angela (Douglass); and his nephews, Tyson Brock, Richard Benson and Nicholas Benson.
He is survived by: his wife Janice L. Douglass (Hetman); his children, Stephanie Douglass of Macon, GA, Martin Douglass (Heather) of Atlanta, GA and Zachary Douglass (Kathryn); his grandchildren, Amber, Scarlet and Elliot; his brother John Douglass; and his sister-in-law Marcia Hetman. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Donations may be made in David's memory to St. Mary of Egypt Orthodox Church, 925 Beaver Ruin Road, Norcross, GA.
