He is survived by: his children, Greg Young (Tracy) of Foley Alabama, Regina L. Young Carpino (John) of Norman Park and Katrina L. Young of Moultrie; his grandchildren, Bill Strange, Chris Carpino, Evan Carpino, Kyler Young, Shawn Young, Garrett Hegwood and Andrew Hegwood; his great grandchildren, Jordan Strange, Jadyn Strange and Rowan Carpino; and his sister Carol Jo Young Snell (Freddy) of Dothan Alabama. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Baker Funeral Home (2222 GA-37, Moultrie, GA 31788). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
