We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2025, at the age of 90, Opal Medley of Norman Park, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Pascal Autrey and Viola Powers Autrey; her husband James Louis Medley; her siblings, John Edward Autrey, William Autrey, Nathaniel Autrey, Marion Autrey and Amber Hurst; and her grandchildren, Celeste Pope and Matt Cox.

She is survived by: her children, Susan Pope (Jesse) of Cool Springs, Lewis Medley (Zona) of Norman Park, Kim Cox (Bobby) of Ipswich and Penny Medley of Norman Park; her grandchildren, Janna Lane (Brent) of Moultrie, Brandon Medley (Elizabeth) of Norman Park, Jami Lyn Warburg (Keith) of Valdosta, Jay Pope (Kristi) of Adel, Jolie McDaniel (Christopher) of Cordele, Jenna Pope (Meghan Martinez) of Tallahassee, Josh Cox (Dani) of Milroy and Rebecca Cox of Lawrenceville; her great grandchildren, Sophie Lane, Braxton Lane, Emi Lou Warburg, Graham Warburg, Jayden Pope, Jameson Pope, Garrison McDaniel, Waverly McDaniel, Lauren Cox and Ellen Cox; and her brother Emory Autrey (Jerrie) of Meigs.
