He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Roper and Evelyn Roper of Oakwood Georgia. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Higgins Roper; and his siblings, Marlon Roper, James Roper, Jerry Roper (Janis), Judy Lee (Leo) and Janice Brown (Bobby).
