William will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor William by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though William is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. William’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Herbert Bagwell and Evelyn Norrell Bagwell (Celste Bagwell Forrester). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Bagwell (Millwood); his daughter Heather Bagwell Westmoreland (Josh); his grandchildren, Anna Kate and Henry Westmoreland; and his siblings, Connie Bagwell Millwood (Colin) and David Bagwell (Lynn). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Flat Creek Baptist Church (5504 Flat Creek Rd, Gainesville, GA 30504).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions to be made to the Golden Corral at the Flat Creek Baptist Church.
