It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel David Vonier Sr. of Ochlocknee, Georgia, born in Pavo, Georgia, who passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William David Vonier and Hazel Hawkins Vonier; and his siblings, Joe Vonier and Shirley Hicks. He is survived by : his spouse Lavonia Eaton Vonier; his children, Daniel David Vonier, Jr. of Ochlocknee, GA and Shannon Wilson (Donald) of Ochlocknee, GA; his sister Betty Weeks of Thomasville; and his grandchildren, Candace Donaldson (Tate), Kaitlyn Carroll (Luke), Brett Butler (Kaitlyn), Megan Fromkin (Jacob) and Caelan Wilson (Morgan). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Whiddon Shiver Funeral Home (10451 US-84 Ste E, Thomasville, GA 31757).
