She was predeceased by: her father George Bass; her husband Danny Carter; and her siblings, Lynn Bacon and Gary Bass. She is survived by: her mother Joan Faye Bass; her children, Jennifer Kirkland of Cairo and Joseph Willis (Ozanne) of Coolidge; her grandchildren, Landon Norris, Tyler Kirkland, Vivianna Esquival, Victoria Clark and Veronica Cortez; her great grandchildren, Ava Rose, Aubree and Hayes; and her brothers, Mike Bass and Ken Bass of Thomasville.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 24th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Allen and Allen Funeral Home (110 W Hansell St, Thomasville, GA 31792). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Laurel Hill Cemetery (700 E Jackson St, Thomasville, GA 31792).
