She was predeceased by: her parents, Earman Evans and Daisy Payton Evans; and her sister Diane Braswell of Alamo. She is survived by: her husband Howard O. Brantley of Oconee; her children, Darrell Brantley (Sara) of Milledgeville, Kathy A. Brantley of Tennille and Shannon Godfrey (Noel) of Oconee; and her sister Helen Lawerence of Glenwood. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
