She was predeceased by: her husband Chester Thompson, Sr.; her granddaughter Daphne Gest; her parents, Ollie Mae Tyre and Harry J. Burnette, Sr.; and her siblings, Inez Moore, Bobby and Harry J. Jr. Burnette.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Blanton (Derrel Rogers) and Chester Thompson, Jr. (Shanda); her grandchildren, Jasper Blanton (Kacie), Sierra Blanton, Richard Thompson (Nikki) and Chessica O'Banion (Michael); her great grandchildren, Erica Blanton (Jared), Alexis Blanton-Page, Rem Harris, Huk Thornton, Hollis Blanton, Mariana Daniels (Snapper), Chrissie O'Banion, Arlyn, Chet Thompson, Clayton Gest (Haley) and Weston Gest (Brianna); her great great grandchildren, Briar Lynn, Braille, Bryce, Kennedy Gest and Colbi Rae Daniels; her sister Marilyn Maxwell; and her sister-in-law Lawana Burnette. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
