With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lonnie Ogden Jr. of Odum, Georgia, who passed away on June 5, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Carter Ogden and Lonnie; and his siblings, Viola Dent (Logan), Verdie OQuinn (George), Verma Cribbs (Bill), Lester Ogden (Pearl), Tom Ogden (Velma), Pearl Roberson (Rufus), Janell Ogden (Hilda), Dewitt Ogden (Evelyn) and Calvert Ogden (Margie).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Carter Ogden; his sister-in-law Patsy Giles of Odum; and also Tempie Pye Ogden. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home (860 US-301, Jesup, GA 31546). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
