He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Sharpe Jones; his brothers, Roland, James, John and Joseph Jones; and his great grandchild Murphy Marie Jones.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Jones (Celeste) and Greg Jones (Melony); his grandchildren, Caroline Johnson (Ryan), Patrick Jones (Sutton), Logan Jones (Allie) and Aidan Jones; his great grandchildren, Wynne, Tess Johnson, Penelope Jones, Dean Johnson, Hugh, Eloise, Harrison and Addison Jones; and his sisters, Mary Jones Peacock of Cumming and Ruby Jones Brannen of Brunswick. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
