We announce the death of Ron Zipf of Odum, Georgia, who passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 80. Ron will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Ron’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Zipf and Audrey Zipf; and his sister Gladys Margarite Zipf. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Aspinwall Zipf of Odum; his children, Bob Zipf (Windy) of Odum and Linda Ann Strayer (Allen Dukes) of Brunswick; his grandchildren, Randa Spradley, Peyton Jaymes, Willow Ann Spivey and Miles Allan Strayer; Robbie Strayer.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Odum City Cemetery (751 Tillman St, Odum, GA 31555).
