She was predeceased by: her mother Mattie Sweat; and her brother Calvin Sweat. She is survived by: her father Jesse Sweat; her husband Eddie Surrency of Odum; her daughter Christy; her son-in-law Sean Ellerbee of Monroe; her grandsons, Jack and Ben Ellerbee; and her siblings, Emma Lee Morris of Brunswick, Debbie Waters (Don) of Odum and Glynn Sweat (Mary) of Brunswick. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rinehart and Sons Chapel (860 US-301, Jesup, GA 31546). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel (860 US-301, Jesup, GA 31546).
