With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Sullivan Copeland of Odum, Georgia, who passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ellis Shannon Copeland. She is survived by: her son Ronnie; her grandchildren, Kevin Copeland (Erica) of Odum, Kyle Copeland (Ashly) of Odum and Korey Copeland (Shaina) of Odum; her stepchildren, Kenny Copeland (Rita), Huey Copeland (Jennifer) and Shanda Thompson (Chester); and her stepgrandchildren, Bess, Dallas, Steve, Cole and Cale.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Odum Cemetery (751 Tillman St, Odum, GA 31555).
In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to Hospice of South Georgia, 1625 Sunset Blvd, Jesup, Ga. 31545.
