She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmet O'Berry and Anna Mae Thomas O'Berry; her husband Joseph Wendell "J. W." Chancey, Sr.; her son Rev. Sammy Chancey; and her siblings, Louise Chancey Owens, Ida Mae Clark, Jack O'Berry, Tom O'Berry, Arthur O'Berry and Jimmy O'Berry.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Chancey of Offerman, Patricia Taylor of Waycross, Joe Chancey (Bobbie Jo) of Patterson, Robert Chancey (Cindy) of Patterson and Kenny Chancey (Jan) of Ten Mile, TN.; and her daughter-in-law Gina Chancey of Brunswick. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; 1 great-great-great granddaughter; numerous special nieces and nephews.
