She is survived by : her children, Derronsdell "Marcel" Tookes, N'Kema Freeman (Sean) and Alisha Harper; her grandchildren, Chazmine, Jaida, Izaiah, Sean, Reagan, Zirmarya, Zion, Kamiya, Derronsdell Jr., Ayden and Lauryn; her great grandchildren, Zain and Zaiah; her siblings, Henry Leonard Tookes (Naomi), Willie Tookes, Mary Ann Tookes-Edwards, Gloria Dean Thomas (James Thomas), Doddie Tookes and Lynn Tyson; and her friends, Brenda Durham, Betty Sue Jones, Lula Tookes, Jennifer Johnson, Alma Jean Jones, Lorna Mathis and Kathy Ward Mann. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other close relatives and devoted cousins.
